Binu Paul, Managing Director
Binu has had extensive experience in the investment and funds management industry over the past 17 years and was till 2013, Head of Business Strategy for a large investment management firm in New Zealand, managing around $3.5 billion on behalf of KiwiSaver scheme providers, superannuation schemes, charitable trusts, endowment funds, city councils etc.
Previously, Binu was chief executive of a New Zealand-based investment consulting and financial research firm, and was primarily responsible for the research of over 700 investment funds offered to New Zealand investors. He has consulted and offered investment research services to a wide range of clients, including fund managers, private bankers, financial planners, trustees, professional services firms as well as policy makers and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. He has also held roles overseas in the technology and corporate finance sectors.
Prior to completing the Implementing Corporate Strategy course at the Wharton business school of the University of Pennsylvania, he gained a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelors’ degree in Technology (B.Tech) and qualified as a Registered representative of the New Zealand Futures and Options Exchange.
Binu founded SavvyKiwi in 2014.
